Hello fellow driving fan…

… and all those, who like taking up the carriage reins and have a closer look inside the exceptional world of carriage driving!
I am Andreas Wintgens, Trainer for Carriages and certified Instructor for Carriages up to four-in-hand within the so-called Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung ‘FN’ (Federation Equestre Nationale).
I regularly and successfully attend competitions in different categories, including the heavy class, where I drive turn-outs for single and pairs, four-in-hand, even up to 6 horses drawing the coach.

You need my help in the training of your horse or education in driving? Disregarding in which part of the world you live, rest assure, that I conduct professional training, keeping always the focus on the horse’s health and the overall safety of horse and driver.
The aim of the education/training will be individually arranged and, depending upon your expectations, the driving training may even lead to competition degree of ripeness.

Furthermore, we offer private lessons for horse and driver in our driving centre or at your premises.
We also like to take care of individual issues or demands (i.e. Roadworthiness-training) as well as the correction of so called “problem-horses”.
Be it is training for the leisure driving, competition, or heavy class, you and your horse will be well treated.

As an attraction in show programs, my team presents special performances in carriage driving with up to 6 horses (Ponies and heavy class horses).

My activities expand into other countries as well. My team successfully participated in tournaments in France and Belgium. The Equestrian Sports World Fair ‘Equitana’ and the ‘World Equestrian Games’ are two events, where my team is a known attraction in the show program.

Next to my driving activities, I am also a breeder. This all started in 1993 with the carthorse ‘Tanja’ from ‘TornadoII’. The four full-sisters Paddy, Pinar, Paula and Polly are her direct descendants, all stemming from the ‘father’ “Prince du Tilleul”. They all are successful in breed as well as in sport. By now, Tanja gave birth to 8 foals and she is currently pregnant again.

Our ‘horse ranch’ was build by my father, who I took it over from many years ago. During time of transformation, the ranch became an official riding and driving centre, which is known far beyond the borders of our country.
